It’s back! In 2015 Farnsfield Scouts ran a fundraising ferret evening in aid of raising money for the scout group. On Saturday 30th March the group will be running the night again. The doors will open at 7pm with the first race starting at 7:30pm. The price is £5 for adults and £2.50 for young people 16 and under. To get tickets email ferrets@1stfarnsfield.org.uk.

The night will include family fun for all ages including a pay on the night bar. As part of your ticket you will receive a small supper. To read more about the event visit the event webpage at 1stfarnsfield.org.uk/ferrets

“Since 2015 the group has grown significantly with 6 times more young people enjoying Scouting in Farnsfield” explained Tom Pitt, Group Chair Person at the group. “The event will help the group fit out a new trailer recently purchased to go on more camps. The scouts is solely a non-profit organisation and such our kit needs to be renewed. We’re all excited about being involved and we hope that local people will come along on the night to enjoy the fun.”

The evening runs from 7pm until 10pm in The Village Centre, Farnsfield. Entry is by ticket only and can be purchased in advance only by contacting Laura Cracknell (ferrets@1stfarnsfield.org.uk).

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
