The Scouting and School term may be finish today for the summer but the fun doesn’t stop there! The people at The Scouts have out their heads together and come up with a summer of skills that can be learnt through little different activities.

As Scouts, we believe in fun, adventure and equipping young people with the skills they need to succeed in life. Summer of Skills is a celebration of that, with activities designed to entertain wandering minds and broaden horizons.

With these fun, easy, skills based ideas your family will be set for an exciting, adventurous Summer of Skills. It’s time to reclaim the summer holidays.

There’s 45 activities that you can have a go at ranging from 30 minutes to over an hour. All activities explore learning a skill in a fun way. There’s Abominable Smoothies to Juggle Crossings and even a Mindful Morning. Take a look by visiting https://summerofskills.scouts.org.uk and have a go!

We’ll share our highlights each week for you to have a go! Why not share what you’ve done with us by posting your pictures on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/1stfarnsfield
